and goodness knows how that happened. What with guests from out of town this week, the paving of the condo (and all the noise and kerfuffle that entails), training new lawncare staff and etcetera, I'm obviously a little out of it all.
Nonetheless, having some time in the studio meant that some collage starts made it into the inspiration book...
Hi Win, thanks for your kind thoughts. Loving your choice of colours on the collages and look forward to seeing how you use the black and white pieces too. Happy creative week, Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteThanks, Angela - I'm so enjoying these small works and the stages they (will) go through. Very fun, and doable in a crazy life! xo
DeleteWin, I just adore visiting your blog. Endless ideas, variety, ambition and beauty. I always find something special and this week it's the second picture down. I love it, it reminds me of my home. Look up pictures of Utah's Canyon Land on Google and you will see what I mean.
ReplyDeleteCalm and relaxing??? fat chance I have 12 grandchildren they all play sports or dance so there are plenty of games and dance recitals to go to. And on top of that 3 of them are graduating so today we are off up state to watch Annalise graduate from High School. But it's so much fun and they are all wonderful.
Wishing you and your family every good thing my friend.
Hugs, Deann
So many thanks, Deann, and I love that you are reminded of your home. I did look up the Utah Canyon Land and it looks just amazing/breathtaking/astonishing!
DeleteYour life sounds just as crazy, Deann - how you manage all of that with 12 grandchildren is beyond me. And three graduations?! Good grief.
May your week at least be filled with much love, fun and laughter, even if calm and relaxing doesn't come into play. xo
Even getting a few collage ps started can fulfill one’s creative spirit enough to keep going on life’s other tasks.
ReplyDeleteThat is so true - I love getting into the studio, even if only for a few moments. It makes life worth living!
DeleteSome gorgeous rich colours on your blog today, Win. Those few stolen minutes in the studio make such a difference to one's mood, don't they? I hope life allows you to slow a little soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tracy, and those moments are truly golden! 🎉🤩🍾
