A wild and wacky...

...week means there was little progress in the studio.  Still working on the collages for the signatures, I was amused to find that this week I've been working in the same two colours on each of the tables.

The purple and magenta theme is carried from signatures through to a unicorn.

Bit by bit, I suspect there will be a host of colours

show up in these,

given how well they play with so many hues.

I'm hoping there will be more progress next week, as I hope that you've had a much more productive studio week than what happened here.  In the meantime, wishing you extraordinary creative joy!!

  1. With all the lilacs in bloom no wonder your studio is filled with shades of purple.

    1. Isn't that the truth! The valley is filled with shade after shade of purple and the scent of those lilacs fills every molecule of the air!

  2. Hi Win,
Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments on my blog. I love your insights and your beautiful thoughts.
Your projects might be just purple and magenta now, but I know when you are finished they will be spectacular. And I love your little unicorn it is adorable.
Wishing you all the best for you and yours. Have a wonderful creative week .
    Hugs,
    Deann

    1. Many thanks, Deann, on all counts. And right back at you for a creative week, although how could it be otherwise with that Muse working triple time in your brain. 💖

  3. I am loving your desk and I know it will come to life soon and great things will happen. I'm afraid the painting fairy is now busy with other things as he's visiting schools for a few weeks and now wearing a suit! but yes Roast Beef is a good way to attract them. Happy creative week. Hugs Angela xXx

    1. Thanks, Angela - I'm sure things will happen there soon! Sorry to hear the Painting Fairy is on to other things. 🤣 I will reserve the roast beef trick, though, to see how it works! ;-)

  4. There may have been little work progress, but your tables are a work of art in themselves with that spray of purples and a little Mondrianesque layout :) Have a lovely weekend.

    1. Thanks, Tracy - I do agree that at least mentally things will happen. We're praying for sunny skies this weekend, after a week of rain (which we sorely needed, so thanks for that, Universe!).
