...signatures with the initial layer done, and I'm liking the process more and more.
I know there is a great deal more to do on each page,
but I'm loving these little collages.
As always when working on a long project,
concepts change,
\
and the muse takes over.
It's going to be really interesting
to see where this all goes.
I hope you're enjoying your week as much as I've been doing. I'll pop over and say 'hi' once this hits the interweb. 😜
Oh the red and peacock colours make me want to try that combination myself. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat's one of my favourite combinations - just like savouring some illicit cotton candy!!
DeleteOh Win, Your collages are so simple but so effective they are just wonderful. I love them, and as I've said before I can't wait to see the words.
ReplyDeleteThank you is a great start and so like you.
The girl with the unicorn is my niece I made the picture for her birthday. I would be happy to create one for your granddaughter if you're interested. If you can send me a picture of her that would work with the unicorn I would be happy to do it.
Many thanks, Deann - I'm really enjoying the small format and the fun of playing with colour.
DeleteYour neice unicorn painting is just stunning, Deann - I should have known that your image had a personal connection with all that magical energy!
And what a lovely offer to do a digital painting for Chloe - I'll take you up on that with huge thanks if I can find a good photo. She's the fastest camera-shy child on the planet (rather like her dad in that respect!). It's so kind of you to suggest it! Sending smooches, and wishes for a great week...Win
I love these, I need to get back to my collage journal. It feels so relaxing playing with bits of waste card and fodder papers without any thoughts of them having a practical use. Very relaxing. Love the colours you've used too. Happy creative week. Hugs Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteIt's such a wonderful playtime isn't it , Angela? Getting lost in the pleasure of colour choices is so meditative. Here's to you getting back to your collage journal (although I do love everything else you do, too!).
DeleteThese are looking so good, Win. I bet if you flip through it looks fantastic as the colours change for each signature. I love anything where the colours are all arranged to flow from one to the next - yes, I'm one of those people who organises their pens/neocolors/the washing in colour sequence :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so with you on arranging colour, Tracy. There is just something about that rainbow aspect that makes me happy. I'm pretty sure that people who don't arrange colour are not nearly as organized~ 🤣
