...so it's little wonder that my recent mini books series intended for my family carries the theme. They were mailed out this week, and soon my immediate family will all have received one of the seventeen books. To give you an idea of what they contain, I'll show you the one that John received yesterday.
We were all much younger then, my sister and mother have passed into another realm, and the children's' spouses, grandnieces, and grandchildren had not yet made their appearance. The love, however, was there, remained and intensified. One can hardly imagine what my life would have been without all this joy.
Oh, how beautiful. What a precious gift you are to them all! And the double reading of ICU - I see you, and intensive care unit - both so relevant in these books of love.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tracy - this was a truly engaging project. I loved doing it, and hope the family will love receiving it as well.
DeleteBeautiful post and beautiful sharing. I am sure your family will love those books and having a piece of your love through art❤️
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lynne - these were definitely a work of love! xo

ReplyDeleteYou are so welcome, ROJ! ;-) Looking forward to seeing you soon...xoxox 💖
DeleteIt's so important at the moment to let people know you are thinking about them. It must be awful for those who live alone especially. The books are a lovely way to pass your love on and I bet the family will be really pleased to receive them. Thanks for the lovely comments over at mine, you're very kind. Sending big hugs, Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteThanks, Angela - and I certainly agree about those who have been living alone through this challenging time. Recognition, acknowledgement and appreciation of others is such an important thing right now. xo
DeleteWhat a wonderful idea to make a personalized mini book for each member of your family! Seventeen of them! A true labour of love! Enjoy your weekend, Win and a well earned rest!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Zsuzsa, for stopping by and for your kind words...resting here, and happily so. ;-)

DeleteFabulous gift, I hope your children realize what a truly extraordinary mother they have, and hang on to those treasures to look at over and over. Of course I'm sure those are not the first keepsakes you have made for them.
ReplyDeleteHooray the air conditioner man called and move installation up a week he will be here tomorrow!!! Hope your staying cool. Rock on. Hugs Deann
Definitely not the first, Deann, and most unlikely to be the last, although the grandchildren seem to be getting most of the share these days. ;-)
DeleteI'm beyond delighted that you will be receiving your new air conditioner tomorrow...I can feel the anticipatory sighs of relief from here! ❤❤❤
Love your family book idea Angela
ReplyDeleteIt was, most definitely, a labour of love, Angela. And a joy to put them in the mail so they could be on their way!
