. . . just a bit fixated on flowers right now, even though I'm supposed to be doing other things. I worked on this journal spread,
started this one,
and finished another.
I did manage to do some testing on ideas for spider webs,
and now need to determine whether any of them will actually work in Owen's upcoming birthday painting.
We'll have to see about that, won't we? Hope your week has been a good one, and for those readers who are dealing with the horrendous climate change fires around the world, know that you are not alone. Keep safe - and creative - in the midst of chaos.
No doubt you will figure out how to paint spider webs as you are so great at experimentation.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to say whether any of the experiments will be included in this particular painting, but the experimentation is always a blast! ;-)
DeleteHi Win, I love your flowers. I look forward to seeing the card you're making with the spider's webs. Thanks for asking about my mum she has been much better this week and the chest infection seems almost gone. People complain about the weather here in the UK but they don't realise how lucky we are that we have a mixture of sun and rain. Take care and happy creative week. Hugs, Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your mom is better, Angela, and that the infection is clearing. Hurray for good news on that front. You are very lucky with your weather there; so glad to hear that you're getting both the sun and the rain! Sending big hugs, my friend! xo
DeleteYou can't go wrong with flowers and yours are definitely adorable. As for spider webs, that's a different story, I think we all have a problem with those one way or another. Looks like you're on the right track though. I look forward to seeing the finish product.
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the best, a wonderful week my friend and lots of beautiful flowers.
Thanks, Deann, and I'm so with you on spider webs. I'm like a crazed woman when I walk into them and they are forever building webs across the garage door! A wonderful week and beautiful flowers right back to you, my friend, as we enjoy the summer that's left! xo
DeleteIf flowers are what are coming out of you at the moment, go with it! They look great, and I love the bright colours.
ReplyDeleteWe're in the breathing space before our fire season starts around November, and I feel for you guys in Canada going through the middle of it right now. Stay as safe as you can.
Thanks on both counts, Tracy. The fires are still raging, but there is hope. I know you experience the same craziness there in your fire season, and I feel for all the angst this causes. So many lost homes and upsets.
