...and I celebrated Valentine's Day Month-so-far by working mostly in the heart journal.
One of my work tables is covered in them, and this is after the ongoing journal raid and Valentine-making session.
Of course that's not all - a friend (thanks Allie) let me know about a YouTube video regarding Neurographic Art, and had some fun with that for a change of pace. I can see it's another way of getting hooked on art and has a wonderful subconscious component as well.

A heart journal is such a lovely idea! I think my favourite is the purple one! I've only just discovered Neurographic Art - I first saw it on Instagram and now keep seeing it everywhere! ReplyDeleteIt's interesting how things seem to come in waves - and neurographic art is definitely in that category now. I found it very relaxing and engaging at the same time, putting me into the typical near-meditative state that intense creativity can do!

And once again we are on the same page, Win - I watched a neurographic art vid on YouTube this week, too! It's one of the few things I can do at the moment with my severely limited set of materials. I've taken to practicing my sketching in the hope there will be some improvement by the time our container arrives. Have a great week!
