Collage addiction...

...is definitely a thing, and someone may have to send help.

I finished off the signature from last week,

and started another signature incorporating text.

These mini collages are so fun to do.  With images at about 2 1/8" x 3 1/2", they seem a good deal easier than a 16 x 20 painting or a stitched and bound book, and in the summer, that's just what's needed as I head outdoors so much.

May your creative week have been just as much fun, and your summer temperatures be perfect for you.  Happy week to you all.  Sending colour heaven your way

  1. All these pages are superb!
They may not be as time-consuming as a lot of your other creations, but they're still a joy for the eyes and the soul, my friend.
I especially love the first one, it's particularly striking, unique and so happy to be alive.
Summer hugs are flying to you.

    1. Many thanks, Sim...I'm just loving the process, even knowing that there will be further embellishments to come. And sending Summer Hugs right back - it's a beautiful season in which to be alive, no?!

  2. I love these mini collages, they are a great way to use those small pieces of paper that we just can't throw away. Wish you could have seen me today with a piece of waste diecut card in one hand and the bin lid in the other....."shall I ? shan't I ? bin it, yes or no? I have little control when it comes to such decisions. Have a good weekend. Hugs Angela xXx

    1. Cracking up over your bin dilemna - it's a constant thing in this studio as well. And of course, that's why our baskets become 'exploding' and take over the studio. 😄

Happy week to you, and may your yes/nos be easy and safe. ;-)

  3. Ooh, I love these little collages with words. Each page is an exercise in contemplation. I admire your ability to work with such a small canvas. I feel myself heading the other way, wanting to work larger and larger!
Enjoy your fresh air and sunshine :)

    1. I, too, am enjoying the addition of words to the collages, so it may happen in another signature as well. As a life-long and avid reader, the joy of the printed word has always been with me, and I turn more and more to the contemplation of them. xo

  4. Win, I love your mini collages the wonderful combination of colors and how you name them. The first one is balance in my mind, which is a little off kilter anyway. The watch is so cool. I always wonder why some things appeal to us more then others. The first card and the last are my favorites...go figure. This is color heaven my friend. Happy week to you. Best wishes and big hugs from me.

    1. I do love hearing which collages appeal to others - so often they are a completely different pick than mine, although not this time. It seems, too, when I go back to other posts, that can change, just as I've changed. So perhaps the appeal is not only colour and content, but time and circumstance!

Sending big hugs back to you, Deann - it's always a treat to see you visiting here, and to visit your own beautiful blog.
