Not in the studio, I'd say. I did, however, spending some time sorting and doing some finishing details on projects completed last year. I actually labelled the mini collage book, as well as the quote book, so they're presentable and identifiable.
^ That collage book looks as though it's choking it's stuffed so full!
The quote book books like a party with all those ribbons and beads pouring out from the envelopes.
Here are some more quote photos in case you're not yet overwhelmed with my faves.
Was your week just as full and fun? I sure hope so. I'm going to wander over to your pages and check it out!!
The ‘Bits and Piece’ book and ‘Don’t Quote Me on That’ book are looking so good all completed. They’ve been such ongoing projects that there must’ve a sense of pride at their completion. Well done, you!
ReplyDeleteThanks - it's always a good feeling to finish a project, and these are no exception. Now I can start another one! ;-)
DeleteI love your fat journal, it's brilliant and thanks for the kind words about the baby journals but I will be pleased when they are finished and I can get my hands dirty again it's all far too clean Lol! but I promised my friend I would make them for her daughters. I wrote this once but seem to have lost it so you may get it twise. Hugs Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteThanks, Angela - it's good to get them done so I can start on something new. These loooooooong-term projects can feel like an eternity, so I plan on some experimentation play for the next while, though.
DeleteSo great to see all this! And encouraging too... I need to put my head down, & follow your inspiration, now that it's the new year! And looking forward to seeing these in person in 2025.
ReplyDeleteHave my fingers crossed that will be the case, and do keep my posted on your own creative play!!
DeleteOh Win, I absolutely love all your quotes, they are awesome. I especially love the one about "Being a Fruit Loop in a bowl full of Cheerios" and Silence is Golden...so true. You have made my day with your collection of wit and wisdom, Thank you my friend. I hope all is well with you, and you are keeping warm up there. Love and hugs from here, Deann
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, Deann...there are just so many wonderful (and apt) quotes in our world, I suspect I'd need to make another dozen books just to start scratching the surface.
DeleteWe're warm and wet up here, with very little snow this winter and a whack of rain. I've worn my winter boots twice to walk, and it's nearing mid-January!!
Love and hugs right back to you, and the hope that you're well, happy and being the best fruit loop you can be.
My oh my, that book is stuffed! It looks fabulous, Win. That elastic belt is just the ticket to keep all the luscious creativity in.
ReplyDeleteI have fears, Tracy, that the book will burst the band wide open, so I hope you'll keep your fingers crossed with me. ;-)
DeleteI enjoyed reading the quotes in these journals. Completeing a project is very satisfying isn't it?
ReplyDeleteIt's the greatest feeling to know that a project is 'done and dusted'. And it whets the appetite to start more, to boot! ;-)
DeleteAlways beautiful and profound quotes, and always extraordinary book-objects. Bravo my friend!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, Sim, and it's such a delight to see you back here! xo
