With the lilacs in such profusion,

is it any wonder I've got purple on the brain?  Between the scent and the colour I'm in purple heaven!

I love this particular style of signature for all the pockets, twists and turns, and options galore.  I can hardly wait to get several of them sewn into an actual book (of course I have to learn how to do that yet!).

And in case you've not had enough purple yet, here's some more. . . of the outdoor kind.

Now I've really overdone it, haven't I?  I did say I had purple on the brain.  😵

    1. That makes me smile, Corrie - I used to be purple-crazed, became less so, and this signature has me rethinking that as well. We're crazy, we artists, aren't we?!

  2. Beautiful! Love that spotty washi. Are you doing a rainbow of books? Or all the rainbow in one? :)

    1. Thanks, Tracy, and that washi is actually rec centre armbands which came in dozens of styles. Many of my centre friends were saving them for me, and they wind up in all sorts of places - journal pages, mini books, cards and more. :D

As for the signatures, I now have one each of burgundy, red, green, turquoise, brown and black/white. Goodness knows how many books they will comprise when finished...

  3. Purple is not my favorite colour, but I LOVE the pages and the beautiful flowers you share with us. But most of all I really admire Van Gogh in a field of sunflowers! Gorgeous! Hugs, my friend.

    1. That van Gogh image is marvellous, isn't it? I found it online, but was unable to locate the artist. I just LOVE it!

    2. It is the most beautiful collage I have ever seen for Van Gogh. I really LOVE it.

  4. Hi Win, there are so many gorgeous shades of this colour from very cool to very warm. The stamped image with the little bug on looks rather familiar, I used that on one of the ATCs for the WOYWW swap which incidentally we are doing again next week. Have a lovely creative week my friend and craft on. Hugs, Angela xXx

    1. I love that little bug, and I wouldn't be surprised to find out (if I could remember) that it came from you. :D Great week back at you, my friend!

  5. Purple and gold - a match made in heaven! And I think I recognise one of those tags LOL from a long time ago. It warms my heart to know that you've treasured it all this time! And those flowers - I've always said nature is the best artist - what more proof do we need? Have a lovely weekend in a purple haze! xx

    1. Ha! I wondered whether you'd catch that tag addition. :D I love putting gift tags and ATC's from exchanges in my journals; they add such a lovely touch of delight and memory! Thank you again...and happy week, my creative friend! xo

  6. Whoo you can't scare me with purple I am right there with you. I tend toward the bluish end, like the background on your first two and last two art projects, which are lovely by the way. I especially like the Van Gogh and the Jerusalem. I have a small bathroom and a laundry room are painted about the same shade as that. I find purple to be a very restful and dare I say spiritual color...so rock on lavender lady...more power to you.

    1. Somehow I knew you'd be all over the purple...you use it so beautifully in your work. I'm with you on the blue end of it, and did have a bathroom in that colour in a previous home as well. :D Twinsies. Spiritual indeed. Sending happy purple thoughts...xo
