This group was ready to play from the moment they walked in the door.
There were piles of deliciousness everywhere I looked, and the laughter was constant. The ladies gave me the gears about all the ways I repurpose supplies but it really got bad when I asked them to save the hole-punch paper holes from their tags. They thought I was nuts, but I got the last laugh; I used the ones they gave me on a tag after they left.
And because I was on a roll with the silly season, I followed that with a journal spread.
Thanks, my friends for such an enjoyable afternoon. And if you're looking for a way to entertain yourself and guests for a few hours, why not book your own time? Call me at 250-428-2115 (or email windinn@telus.net and we can set a play date.
Fantastic tags and the ladies look like they had fun and were totally in their element! A fabulous bonus tag,I had a giggle at that - I always have much more fun with the scraps and leftovers from other work ....lol! Craziness and creativity are sisters.
ReplyDeleteAn amazing spread in the journal - an utterly beautiful background!
Happy weekend ahead my friend! I would play with you for sure if I lived nearby.
They had a blast, Susi - it was an energetic afternoon! I had to laugh at the tag, too...one of my favourite sayings is that 'everything is collage fodder', and it's hard to me to discard the smallest scrap, as they learned! :D And yes, creativity and crazy go hand in hand, and isn't that wonderful?! And about coming to play - road trip?! ;-)
DeleteIt is always fun at your play dates Win and I hope you get lots of people to come and play with you this summer - a good way to get out of the heat!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, Val - and such a perfect way to stay cool as I continue my Basement Dweller activities. :D
DeleteTag-O-Rama! Such industry and intentness. Happy to see the dancing girls stamp in use! You do know how to show people a fun and creative time, Win! xox
ReplyDeleteThat's EXACTLY what it was, Alice - and those dancing girls are always popular! I'm looking forward to our next play day here, Alice...way past due. ;-)
DeleteSuch gorgeousness! And great use of the 'holes' :) What a happy studio you have.
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right about the gorgeousness, Tracy - they were so on a roll! I count myself very fortunate to be able to spend so much time in the studio...it's a great gift!
DeleteHoly Tagalicious Win!! heehee
ReplyDeleteLooks like a tag of a time! Here a Tag, there an Tag, every where a Tag-Tag! LOL
Thanks so much for sharing such a fab time with your play friend! I have a date here coming up soon- will post photos afterwards!
hugs and love my taggy friend! (sorry, could not resist the Silly!)
Jackie xx
Isn't that the truth, Jackie - tagalicious is the perfect word. So much fun; I'm looking forward to your play date post; I just love it when people get together to create! And I love your Silly, my friend - pure joy! xo
DeleteThe tags are gorgeous and it looks so fun I'm always sorry I live so far away. I can see you are an old scavenger like me, it's so hard to throw out anything that might be perfect for some project in the future...even hole punches...don't feel bad I am a polymer clay and plastic eyeball freak. Oh and boxes I love little boxes.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend Win keep on keeping on.
Plastic eyeballs? Good grief, Deann - you are certainly as crazy as I am, if not more so...I don't think I've ever saved one of those. :D I'm with you on the little boxes (and occasionally make them ad nauseum). Truly, you MUST move closer my friend...
DeleteLooks like another fab day with Win and with great results! It is a shame I don't live around the corner ...
ReplyDeleteCorrie x
Maybe it's time to move, Corrie? :D We could have a blast together!!
