...is a magical word, isn't it? You can find huge variations in the meaning in dictionaries, from gibberish to nonsense to mystical incantation. My favourite definition is 'I create what I speak' and of course that has led me to the I AM statements, and to yet another book-in-progress.
Colour-full
Mindful
Abundance
Well-travelled
Love
Joy
Inspiration
Fun
Growth
Powerful
I suspect that this will be a long and entertaining process. These visual and verbal positive affirmations will be a great reminder of all that I am, all that I desire and all that I hope. I'm wondering what your I AM statements might be? Do let me know in the comments below.
Oh that made me laugh, Val - given that we are once again in the thickest of the smoke in our own personal fire season. If my count is correct, this is the fourth year in a row where breathing has been near impossible here!
Win i have always loved Abracadabra what a wonderful word and you're right it just sounds magical, and that definition I have never heard I love that too. Your book is fabulous and embodies everything you are through your beautiful art. You left out one thing however...you are wonderful, a wonderful friend, a wonderful teacher and a wonderful person. Rock on my friend you are truly one of the beautiful people.
That's a fabulous definition, isn't it, Deann?! Many thanks for the compliments - you are waaaaaaaay beyond kind, my friend. And I'll add it to the list! :D xo
Still making me rounds this morn...have to tell you, this is one fab journal in the making- I am...in Love with it! Oh to peek inside your brain for a bit- how fun it must be to see those squirrels in cages running round and round throwing color everywhere! (okay, Not sure if that is what your brain looks like, but all of the sudden after reading your posts, I had that image!lol Busy busy busy I say!) Like me! much love XoXo
That's exactly right, Jackie - squirrel is for sure what it's like in this brain, wildly touched with whirling splashes of colour! And since you do the same, we're definitely soul sisters! :D xo
Well, don't I know that any I Am's that you create would be wickedly wonderful in your own unique style?! There's a challenge for you - it could be your first full-length book! ;-)
What a wonderful way to explore who you are! I absolutely LOVE that first 'colour-full' page - it is so 'you' :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tracy - coincidently, it's already a firm favourite of mine too! :D
DeleteSo very cool Win. Today my 'I am" statement would have the word 'breathless' - lol. Have a good weekend.
