This coming Saturday is the Kootenay Fibre Arts Festival and I'll be there doing mono-print demos on the Gelli Plate. Best part? If you attend, you get to try it too!

The benefits are legion. The playshop is highly entertaining whether you're a fibre freak, a creative looking for a place to play and learn, or an established artist in any medium. After making some 800+ prints for my own entertainment, I can safely say that it's more fun than you can possibly imagine! You say you don't have any experience in creating art? You don't need it! No skills? They come in the learning package - no extra charge - and heavily disguised as fun.
If you've taken any of my other playshops, you'll know they are stress-busters that promote a desire for more, more and more creative fun. If you're a newbie, you're going to love it! This Saturday - come and register.

ReplyDeleteI haven't forgotten you, I have been wrapped up in my mom's 90th birthday open house....now that's over, I can't find my darn ATC's it's been about 9 years since I worked on them. I know, there weren't many left maybe I handed them out to my granddaughters or something.
Anyway if I can't find them I will have to make a few. Oh dear I hope my eyeballs can still see that small....lol Get back to you soon.
I'm very patient, Deann, but a tad envious if your granddaughters scored them first! Since my eyeballs are about the same vintage, I expect, it's quite possible our ATC's will be of comparable clarity. :D
DeleteMaybe I could fly over Lol! You are going to have such a great time. I am utterly addicted to Gelli printing but the trouble is that when I start I get the Gelli fairy who prints stuff off when I'm not looking and suddenly there are tons of prints everywhere. Have a brilliant time, Angela xXx

ReplyDeleteGelli plating is so addictive and I think it's pretty near impossible for have a bad pull, Zsuzsa. I know those who try it at the Kootenay Fibre Arts Festival will be as hooked as am I. Definitely - photos to follow!
