...what I've been up to this week, will you? Christmas cards? How did you know??
I finished all the tops of the cards, printed the front tags, glued them down,
and did the same for the inserts as well.
Everytime I did some glueing, I stashed the piece under this book, and giggled at the title - somehow Heavy Equipment Repair seemed the perfect book for the task.
I had a good collection of cards when finished, even though I'd sent some out of the country already.
I do have some more cards to make (less urgent), but I took a break to add some words to the travel journal of collages. It was great fun to be glueing something different for a change.
Hope you've had an entertaining and creative week, whatever you were up to. I'm going to pop over to check on you soon!!
You my friend are the most loving, kind, talented person I know. That's all I can say, you blow me away on a weekly basis. I wish you well in all your days and hope you have a lovely Christmas Season. Big hugs from here. Deann
ReplyDeleteYou are so kind, Deann; your comments lift my heart - aways. Sending some major Christmas magic your way, my friend! 🪄🤶🏻❄️🎄
DeleteThanks for your kind comments over at mine and pleased you liked the new journal page. Loving your C. cards, so much colour which is just what we need at the moment as it's gone quite cold and dull here now. I've been on the last few cards today but hopefully posted all the ones that needed to go early. I really will be pleased now when I can pack this stuff away as I really am ready to do something different. Sending hugs Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteSo many thanks, Angela - I agree with you re the colour needs right now. We, too, are experiencing a late grey fall, and my colour piggery button is really being pushed! I'm also ready to move on from the cards - Christmas ornaments for near and dear coming up!
DeleteOh là là, it's crazy how many cards you've made! I can't believe it!
ReplyDeleteWhat's more, they're all gorgeous!
You must be having a great time.
You have such a big heart, my dear friend.
Sending you lots and lots of big kisses.
I do hope your card arrives in good time, Sim. Thanks for the kudos...they've been so much fun to create! Hugs and kisses right back to you, dear friend. xoxox
DeleteSo much Christmas joy that you share with your colorful creations. And you wrap them up with your warm ❤️ heart. Gwen
ReplyDeleteBless you, Gwen - it's a joy to read your comment. And I want you to know how much joy you bring to John with your fabulous chair yoga at Swan Valley. You are SO appreciated! xo
DeleteWow, that's a real production line you have going there, Win. They are a mini version of a series of paintings - beautiful variations on a theme. And a suitable weight to keep them under 🤣
ReplyDeleteI haven't managed to post anything for a while as I have been doing something similar behind the scenes ready for our Christmas giveaway.
I knew you'd be going like mad to get you and your hubby ready for all the festivities. I'm looking forward to when you've got time to post again so I can see what you've been up to! Have a fabulous Christmas season, my friend...sending you all the best!
